Opera Wine, the only tasting event that Wine Spectator organises outside the United States, is a collaboration between the renowned American magazine and Veronafiere. This exclusive event is aimed at buyers, Horeca (Hotellerie, Restaurant, Café) and international journalists, with the objective of highlighting the most significant Italian wineries according to Wine Spectator, together with their most iconic and representative labels on world markets.
Opera Wine confirms itself as one of the leading events to celebrate the excellence of Italian wine. In particular, the event is important to emphasise the strong connection between Italian wines and the US market, the leading importer of our labels. On 5 April 2025 in Verona, the wineries selected by Wine Spectator will be the focus of a prestigious tasting organised by the renowned American magazine on the eve of Vinitaly.

Opera Wine 2025: the stage for great Italian wines in the heart of Verona
Where: the event will be held in Verona, at the Gallerie Mercatali, Viale del Lavoro, 11. This location lends itself perfectly to hosting an event of this magnitude, allowing participants to move easily between the tasting counters.
When: the date to mark on the calendar is 5 April 2025. The event will take place in the afternoon, from 14.30 to 17.30. Participants will enjoy wine tasting in the presence of the producers in a convivial atmosphere.
