Lamole di Lamole, in collaboration with zeroCO2, presents itself at the 55th edition of Vinitaly with a carbon neutral stand, the first in the history of Italy’s most important wine fair

From the stand’s design to its realization, everything has been taken into consideration from the point of view of ecodesign, in order to minimize the impact of every choice: from the materials to their transport, from the food on offer to publicity materials for visitors, and even the transfers of the people – and so reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide to a minimum.

The most significant of these is of course wood – which, by its very nature, stores CO2, strictly with PEFC or FSC certification. The stand’s graphics have been created according to the rules of maximum environmental responsibility by means of indirect sublimation printing, using green, solvent-free inks and on PET-certified fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles, thus enabling Lamole di Lamole to have a product that is 100% recycled and recyclable.

During the fair, the residual impact of emissions will be measured scientifically, and compensated ex post by means of a reforestation project in Guatemala – in one of the world’s zones harder hit by climate change.

This project, realized in collaboration with zeroCO2, an Italian benefit corporation that deals with the sustainability of ecosystems by means of reforestation programs with a high social impact -, winner in 2021 of the Corporate Fast Track prize, awarded by the Santa Margherita Wine Group among Italy’s most important contest regarding innovation, the “Premio 2031” -, is a further goal achieved by Lamole di Lamole in its quest to create and safeguard stable ecosystems, in balance with nature and with local communities.

Lamole di Lamole’s carbon neutral stand is a first step in demonstrating the company’s attention and commitment to combating climate change in a concrete and effective way.
